Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, I began creating detailed paintings that portrayed events of my life and then moved on to create work that critiqued society. High school art courses provided a critical foundation for me to begin learning how to visually communicate. As it became increasingly important for my work to speak, I turned to create three-dimensional street installations meant to disrupt the public eye. After being awarded a full tuition scholarship to Maine College of Art in Portland, I enrolled and started studying sculpture when I discovered a passion for designing product packaging. This led me to study the designs on their flat surfaces and to see the powerful skills graphic design had to offer. After graduating, I moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where I continue to build up my experience in visual communication. While gaining the skills to speak to thousands is only the beginning, in the end, the message is what counts.
